Liliaceous

My second design, Liliaceous

The motifs depicted in this crescent-shaped triangular lace shawl are inspired by traditional Estonian stitch patterns. Because it is wider than a regular triangular shawl, you get more mileage from a precious ball of yarn than you otherwise would. The Lily motif is created using a beautiful stitch technique where you create 7 stitches from 3. Sounds complicated, but it is actually easier than knitting a nupp!

Liliaceous uses Zealana Kiwi Lace-weight and is knit on 4 mm needles.
